Question by mechanicalvalve: Why is my mouth salivating so much after a recent intubation due to a stroke?
I recently had a stroke, for which I was intubated for a few days. Ever since my mouth has been salivating nonstop! Its a horrible incovenience and extremely bothersome. Im assuming it was due to this. I also had some soreness. Please shed some light!

Probably the cholinergic effect of some of the medications given or a severe infection.
