Question by Bill: What is the least strenuous swimming stroke (not counting backstroke)?
Which stroke requires the least amount of stamina, allows you to take the most breaths, and would be the best for having to swim long distances like 300+ meters?
Answer by Bert
definitly front crawl. That’s the most basic, and least tiresome stroke there is. That’s why you see people doing front for like the triathlon and long distances swimming races. You can breathe every stroke or you can hold it a bit, it’s very flexible that way.
