De qualquer das formas penso que se fores ao site “songmeanins” vai aparecer lá melhores interpretações e mais detalhadas. Isto foi apenas uma síntese. A música tem uma letra bastante completa. De qualquer das formas, I’m glad I could help.

You can interpret it in various ways. the end of the world; censorship; blindless and ignorance of the people – he doesn’t finish to say “ize” which can be interpreted as “eyes” – hence the “ize (eyes) of the world” in the title.

thats right but the old patterns are so rooted in most of the people. The thing is we don’t have to reach everyone we should look who we can reach and try our best. For my experience and knowledge all our behaviours and values are learned and conditioned, the genes are just the parameters (the individual grade of receiving information with our receptors or your hair colour etc)… oh yes,we need to wake up if we want a better world ;)..

When someone says something like “it is through a natural instinct that fish travel up stream to the spanning grounds”, what they actually mean to say is “i don’t know how they do it”. The same goes for when we apply “natural instinct” to human behaviour. We don’t know YET. We put so much on genes accounting for human behaviour instead of questioning our own messed up culture. Thats just a cop out that saves having to investigate the influences of our environment. We need to wake up :/

Yay it seems like you like the strokes and tvp?! Thats nice – :) i play every song of them on my guitar. Its my favourite band with such good lyrics and melodics! it’s hard to speak with people that are convinced that behaviour is inborn (instinct) sometimes im running in circles with those..

“Your eyeballs don’t change, it’s the muscles around your eyes” Love it. This would suggest that we are mechanistic. People didn’t like the mechanistic point of view. We say “i’m not a machine, i’m flesh and bones. I’m a creative thinker!” This type of thinking holds society back. We’re animals. Part of nature not separate from it. Everything in nature reacts to certain stimuli. We’re not born evil. We react to environment. Consider it. “Is your free time to free minds or for falling apart?”

I know that the ending was intentional, but I don’t know what you’re talking about with the former part.
