How do I stroke only PART of a path in Photoshop? For example: stroking a section between 2 anchor points.?

Question by creator_612: How do I stroke only PART of a path in Photoshop? For example: stroking a section between 2 anchor points.?
Maybe you’re asking, “Why does he want to stroke only a part of the path?”. I’ve filled the path to create a shape, now I want to accent an edge of that shape with a line. What I’m doing now is hitting the stroke button, which strokes the entire path, and then I erase the unwanted sections. It works, but the line ends up looking crude.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Duplicate the path and delete the points you do not want to stroke. Clumsy but efficient.
