Can you get pulled over if you have a stroked engine in your car?

Question by crackkbbyyy: Can you get pulled over if you have a stroked engine in your car?
If i’m not mistaken, stroking the engine in your car will general make it louder. Is it possible that the police would pull me over for the car being louder than most but not super super loud?

Yes, simply because it causes attention and anything that causes attention they will find a reason to pull u over.

You can get pulled over if your car is really loud but you will never get pulled over for a stroked motor as you cannot tell an engine is stroked from the outside. Stroking is changing the distance that the piston travels in order to increase the engines displacement it also has nothing to do with how loud the car is or is not. The noise is dependent on the exhaust. An engine with a high lift or longer duration camshaft will have a distinct exhaust note (lope) but again it does not affect the volume and perhaps that is what you meant.

You are mistaken, stroking or boring the engine will increase its size not the noise output, that is controlled by the exhaust system.

You can be pulled over for “excessive noise” ,there is no way to determine if the engine has been stroked,
    it doesn’t matter.
